Superbowl 2011 = Disappointment with fun

Well I must say I am so disappointed that the STEELERS didn’t win
BUT with that said we had a blast at our annual Superbowl party with everyone.
Thank you to the Jones family for another awesome year…

Steelers Digs + Happy Superbowl Day!

I was trying to think of something cute for the kids to wear today to our
Superbowl Party and Kaidin kept on me about how he wanted something different, unique and cool.
Now keep in mind his definitions are a little “different” than mine.
Everything I came up with he looked at and said: NO mom… not like that…
So after a week of debate and compromise with my 4 year old we now have this look…

My lil STEELERS pimp, big STEELERS pimp and lil STEELERS Diva…
these are just part of the outfits, more pictures to come tonight.
Here is to a great day filled with great friends, yummy food, lots of laughs
and a STEELERS WIN… Happy Superbowl…

Malachi turned ONE

Malachi turned ONE and we joined him
for a curiously good time and all the kids went bananas.
We love you little man can’t wait to watch you grow up
into such a great admirable, respectable, caring
and loving person just like your mommy & daddy.
I hope you enjoyed your party as much as we all did. See you soon. xo
We walked in the park and played in the ball pits...
The kids loved playing in the sand...
Miya & Bode didn't want to get sandy, so they stayed on the sidewalk
while leaning into the sand... WIERD I know!
Playing on the playground was super fun...
Wagon rides anyone???
OK So... the kids LOVED all of the SLIDES! Here are the kids on the baby slide...
You can see Miya getting air... she is so tiny...
Then the kids had to go on the BIG KIDS SLIDE and give me a heart attack.
I laughed and laughed at these photos. Miya NEVER went down the right way.
She was ALL OVER. These pictures are TOO FUNNY...
The kids loved playing with the BIG monkeys...
Malachi was so cute with his cake...

Valentines for the lil Man

Tonight I made Kaidin’s Valentines for his friends at school.
He wanted something different and cool. Those were his words.
Kind of how he likes to dress himself sometimes…
we just go with it because he is just that cool… well to me he is!
Here are the finished versions of Kaidin's Valentine Suckers
and you can see below where I got my inspiration…

I saw these cute Valentines on one of my favorite blogs:

http://mybabyfaves.blogspot.com/
she had some free Valentines Day printables.
I got the inspiration from the “You Rock! Free Printable” that:

BIG brother = superhero

Sometimes being a BIG brother is even better than being a superhero!
