road trip 2010 day 8

Today was a lazy day. We hung out around the house and did laundry, packed our bags, took naps and went to lunch… Kaidin hung out all day with the nanny, Madison & Ava at the big mall play land & McDonalds…he was pooped when he got home. Tonight we went to Brad & Maria’s {Mikes cousin & wife) for a BBQ. It was the first time the kids have all met, or, I have met them even though Mike & I have been together 7 years. Crazy huh? We had such a blast and the kids were so cute to watch play together. We are LOVING this vacation and enjoying every minute… NIGHT… see you tomorrow…

road trip 2010 day 7

Today was a fun day we went to breakfast before the twins woke up (so auntie could listen for them) at a cute little restaurant called “The EGG & I”, it was just Mike, I, Kaidin and we took Madison with us, the kids were so cute and so good for us.

We then headed home to meet Kathlena & the nanny, she packed our lunch & we all headed off to the “wildlife experience”. This place was so cool. The kids all had a blast and enjoyed seeing all of the animals and fun stuff.

One the way home we passed a whole field of prairie dogs… they are so cute… they were all standing up watching us drive by…

After naps we packed up the kids and took an hour drive to have dinner with Nicole & Jim and there son Traiden. Jim BBQ’d for us while we watched the kids cause havoc with lots of laughs in between. We miss them so much, it was really nice spending a little bit if time here with them before we left Colorado.

road trip 2010 day 6

Today we went to play at “Monkey Business”…its kind of like Jumpin Jammin. The kids ran crazy and we had lunch. Ran more errands with Kathlena and got the stuff to make her a “STAR”. The kids had long naps today and when Tom came home the adults all went to watch the “Packer” game at a local PUB for Monday night football. The kids were all fast asleep before we left and the nanny looked after them…She is so sweet and the kids really love her. Especially Bode, he LOVES giving her kisses. I think that he is mesmerized by her beauty and long beautiful hair… Pretty cute. After a few drinks Kathlena and I came home and she finished her star. Wanted to go crazy with the Modge Podge after a couple drinks. Fun times… Another night in bed before 10pm. Were having a great vacation and are enjoying every second of our visit here… See you tomorrow…

road trip 2010 day 5...

Today was such a fun day. We woke up and went to Castlewood Canyon State park. We packed a lunch and hiked up and ate and then hiked down. The kids had such a fun time on the hunt for critters. They were all so good. It was beautiful, the cliffs freaked me out but we kind of stayed away from them… it was a great family fun morning.

We had a BBQ tonight with some of Kathlena & Toms friends from Colorado. All of the kids had a blast playing outside on all of the toys…

They were ready for bed early and so are we. Night… see you tomorrow..
